A mega French delegation recently called on Andhra Pradesh’s Chief Minister Mr YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at his residence and evinced interest in forming long term tie-ups with the state of Andhra Pradesh.
Heads of 39 French Companies were on a two-day visit to the state wherein they showed interest in forging partnerships with Andhra Pradesh with a keen focus on infrastructure, automobiles and renewable energy.

The largest employer federation of France, the MEDEF (Federation of France Entrepreneurs) led by Mr Geoffrey Roux de Bezieux stated, ‘Andhra Pradesh is the focal point of partnerships and collaborations with MEDEF.’
MEDEF has shown interest in investing in urban infrastructure, smart cities, urban development, automobile, solar, renewable energy and logistics among others.
The Chief Minister wanted farmers to be benefitted and have sustainable benefits from the sale of agro-products by these investments in the state. The government is looking for partnership in smart energy systems, smart city administrative systems for delivery of public services to citizens said an official release from the CM’s office.
Talking to the delegation, the Chief Minister stressed on identifying infrastructure projects to be established through PPP model. He assured of support from government in investing in waste management and water treatment.
