My focus is on pending projects: Haribabu
Visakhapatnam MP Mr. K Haribabu was all praise for Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, for NDA’s good governance, credible law frameworks to curb corruption and welfare schemes for the poor had helped them to become successful.
He also hinted at the saffron party expanding its wings in the South. It’s evident from the landslide poll victory of the BJP in Uttar Pradesh, people had accepted Narendra Modi as their leader, he said.
Claiming that The NDA government is positive over the railway zone issue, Mr. Haribabu said that Union minister Mr. Venkaiah Naidu and a few others had discussed the issue with the Union railway minister.
Citing an example, the MP said that though ‘2,200 crore had been sanctioned by the Centre, the six-lane Anandapuram-Pendurthi- Anakapalle corridor was moving at a snail’s pace.
“The tenders for the project have also been called for, but they are yet to be opened. The Centre has clearly asked the AP government to solve the ground-level issues, with a rider that the tenders should not be opened till at least 60 per cent of the land are acquired and handed over to the NHAI,” he said.
