Naidu gets into election mode
Setting the tone for 2019 elections Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party supremo Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu gave a clarion call to the cadre to stand prepared in election mode to ensure a smooth sail at the hustings in 2019. He warned against “disgruntled” elements in the party to fall in line.
Inaugurating the TDP’s three-day annual conclave, Mahanadu, in Visakhapatnam last week, Mr. Naidu spoke at length on his government’s philosophy, future roadmap for the cadre, the party’s alliance with the BJP and indiscipline among some party leaders.
Stressing the need for an alliance with BJP Mr. Naidu elaborated that post bifurcation scenario warrant cordial and cooperative relations with the Centre for the development of the State. TDP therefore with an absolute majority on its own continue to have an alliance with BJP.

Youngsters take centre stage
The day-long session was moderated by Mr. K. Rammohan Naidu, son of K. Yerran Naidu. The other youth leaders who took active part are: Mr. Vijay, son of minister Mr. Ch. Ayyanna Patrudu; and Mr. Avinash, son of Mr. Devineni Nehru
When TDP leaders mentioned the name of Telangana TDP working president Mr. Revanth Reddy in their speeches, the partymen cheered him with thunderous applause.
