Union Minister for Jal SakthiMr.Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, presented SwachhMahotsav Award for Tirupati Railway Station for being the third cleanest one.
Divisional Railway Manager, Guntakal Division Mr.Alok Tiwari, received the award at the recently held SwachhataSahayog Day Award Ceremony in New Delhi. Tirupati Railway Station of Guntakal Division, South Central Railway has been adjudged as the 3rd Best Cleanest Railway Station on Indian Railways. Jodhpur Railway Station has been declared as 1st Cleanest Railway Station followed by Jaipur Railway Station. Ministry of Jal Shakti has launched the SwachhMahotsav and Ministry of Railways has been adjudged as one of the best Ministries for implementation of Swachhata Action Plan for the financial year 2018-19, and Inter-Ministry initiative to contribute towards Swachh Bharat Mission. SCR GM, Mr.GajananMallya, complimented the DRM, Officials and Staff of Guntakal Division for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness at Tirupati Railway Station.
