Yuvaraj takes charge as Collector, Vizag
Visakhapatnam: Vice Chairman of VUDA, Dr N Yuvraj recently took over as the Collector for the district of Visakhapatnam.
Regarded as a dynamic and forthcoming officer Dr Yuvaraj assumed office as Vice Chairman on 17 January 2013 and earned the impression of an able administrator and visionary by undertaking many forward looking measures for the association.
Making VUDA E- Office:
Some of his initiatives include making VUDA an E-Office i.e. to make it a paperless office and to keep every administrative measure open and accessible to users as well as the general public.
He concentrated on disclosing complete data including Board decisions wherein VUDA Board resolutions and decisions starting from the time of Town Planning Trust (TPT) till the recent Board Meeting held on May 2014 were placed on the VUDA website.
Auction procedure of plots in VUDA layouts and housing units were made online. The auction of row housing units and plots in VUDA layouts was successfully conducted through online under the supervision of Yuvaraj.
Completion of PCPIR Draft Master Plan :
One of his biggest focus areas and highlights has been the fast tracking of the mammoth VK PCPIR activity.
The Preparation and finalization of the largest PCPIR Master Plan in the country came to an end in July 2013 and the Draft was announced on 5 August. A 120 day period was given to file for objections and suggestions by the affected on the PCPIR draft aster plan. As many as 936 objections were filed. The final draft master plan is now with the government for final approval. A 2005 batch IAS officer Yuvaraj has been the Joint Collector, Guntur, Joint Executive officer, TTD and also served as Sub-Collector of Vikarabad of Ranga Reddy district and Palvancha of Khammam districts at the beginning of his career as IAS officer.
