Leaving the traditional textbook, chalk and duster method behind Robogen is a startup of tech savvy individuals that train young minds by combining theoretical learning with practical implementation of concepts.
With STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education being their fundamental learning process they employ the most modern and innovative teaching methods.
As a part of their training programs, Robogen organizes summer workshops, coaching and robotics labs in Schools and Colleges.
Robogen’s founder Sidhartha Reddy incepted this idea when he was a final year engineering student. While in college he would take home tuitions for students studying in 8th standard. And after classes when he would discuss his college projects, he could sense a keen interest in students in the making of prototypes.
Observing this sharp inclination in students in science Sidhartha and his two other co-founders started Robogen. Founded three years ago in Kakinada Ashram Public School the founders created a curriculum that would not only cover academics but also lay key emphasis on practical learning process. This APIS(Andhra Pradesh Innovation Society) incubated start-up is now present in 15 schools and colleges in Vizag, Kakinada, Vijayawada.
Robogen offers training in three basic programs- Gen spark that helps students work on snap circuits in order to understand the flow of electricity, Robotics that uses Mathematical concepts in design creation and 3D printing wherein a student can think, design a project.
Robogen is also on a path to help children become Makepreneurs wherein children can pitch in their idea, work on them and once the final product is ready, Robogen will connect them to startups or sources where students can get their patent rights on them. The founder says that two students of class 8th are already working on something that will have many takers.
