NTPC Simhadri bags Silver Award

NTPC Simhadri was recently awarded a Silver Award by the Times Group of CSR TIMES in recognition of its commitment to sustainability through Project Vidya – Bala Badi.

The project which has been operational since 2018-19 supports three schools and learning centres in the tribal villages of G. Madugula and Chintapalli of the ASR District. It is executed with the help of the NGO M/s RDSS, Anakapalli, under the guidance of CII.

The award was presented at the 11th National CSR Times Awards 2024, held at the Raj Bhawan Durbar Hall in Panaji, Goa on 23rd august. Mr Sanjay Kumar Sinha (Chief General Manager, simhadri) and Mr K. Prakasa Rao (Manager, CSR) received the award on behalf of NTPC Simhadri.

The award acknowledges NTPC Simhadri’s exceptional efforts in advancing education in tribal regions, said NTPC Simhadri in a release.
