Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL), in collaboration with the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), recently organized an awareness session on the newly introduced SPREE (Scheme to Promote Registration of Employers/Employees). 

The event was attended by Cmde Rakesh Prasad, Director (Corporate Planning & Personnel) & Mr. Soumendra Kumar Sahoo, Dy. Director, ESIC.

Mr. Soumendra Kumar Sahoo, briefed contractors on SPREE Scheme and highlighted various benefits available to Insured Persons and Insured Women under the ESIC scheme. More than 100 contractors participated in the awareness session.

In addition, a Preventive Health Check-up Camp was conducted at the Occupational Health Centre, HSL, exclusively for contract workmen. Over 250 contract workers underwent medical tests including blood sugar, haemoglobin, blood pressure, ECG and other check-ups.
