Accor has announced the signing of Novotel Chirala Beach, a 225-key beachfront resort that will bring Novotel’s Longevity Everyday vision to one of Andhra Pradesh’s most promising coastal destinations upon its opening in 2031.
Located along the pristine shoreline of Chirala Beach (Bapatla district), the hotel is set to redefine the region’s hospitality offering by combining Novotel’s modern design and family-friendly philosophy.
With its pristine beaches, picturesque coastline, and convenient access to Guntur, Amaravati, Vijayawada, Ongole, and Hyderabad, Chirala has become a popular destination for leisure travellers.
Sri Bhramara Resorts, a division of Sri Bhramara Townships Pvt. Ltd., a reputable Guntur-based real estate developer, is said to be working on the project.
Ms Ranju Alex, CEO-South Asia, Accor, said, “An important step in our plan to expand into new leisure destinations throughout India is the signing of Novotel Chirala Beach.
Chirala’s natural coastal beauty, developing infrastructure, and rising demand for first-rate hospitality experiences all contribute to its remarkable tourism potential.
We are thrilled to collaborate with Sri Bhramara Resorts to establish a hotel that will cater to both leisure and business travellers and support the long-term growth of the area’s tourist industry.”
Similarly, Mr Galla Ramachandra Rao, Chairman and Managing Director, Sri Bhramara Townships Pvt. Ltd., said, “We are honoured to collaborate with Accor to introduce the well-known Novotel brand to Chirala.
This project embodies our goal of building hotels that provide top-notch experiences and aid in the development of the area.

As one of the first internationally branded beachfront resorts in the region, Novotel Chirala Beach will strengthen Andhra Pradesh’s hospitality offering by combining globally recognised service standards with extensive leisure and events facilities.
Scheduled to open in 2031, Novotel Chirala Beach will further strengthen Accor’s growing presence in India and usher in a new age of modern beachfront hospitality in one of the country’s most promising coastal destinations.
Speaking to Vizag Industrial Scan on this development Andhra Pradesh’s special chief secretary, Tourism, Mr Ajay Jain said “Chirala beach is fast emerging as a popular tourist destination.
We intend to develop this place as the Goa of the East Coast. Our Chief Minister, Mr Nara Chandrababu Naidu has directed the tourism department to prepare a master plan for development of the area”.
