Adani holds Rural Sports Tournament

The Adani Rural Sports Promotion cricket tournament was recently held at Gangavaram. It was presided over by the CEO of Adani Gangavaram Port along with the CI of New Port Police Station and senior officials from the port and the Adani Foundation.

The event saw the participation of 15 teams and over 250 youth from Gangavaram, Dibbapalem, and Srinagar villages, highlighting the importance of sports and community engagement in rural areas.

The village leaders and the village sports committee expressed their gratitude to Adani for supporting the various development activities under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

Their efforts have positively impacted the villages, driving growth and collaboration among local communities.

Speaking on the occasion, Adani Gangavaram Port Limited Management said, The Adani Port and the Foundation remain committed to fostering community development in key areas such as education, health, sustainable livelihoods, and infrastructure development.

The tournament not only showcased the sporting talent of the region but also reinforced the commitment of Adani to invest in and uplift the rural communities surrounding their operations.

We encourage youth to pursue their academic and sporting goals, which will create long-term benefits for themselves and their communities.
