Address needs of MSMEs: CM to DMs

The state of Andhra Pradesh topped the list of GSDP for 2021-22 by registering a growth rate of 11.43 % compared to the country’s average of 8.7%.

Lauding this as a great achievement the CM said this was the highest among the 19 states for which the data had been currently released and attributed the Growth to the transparency brought in by the government.

Speaking to officials in a recent Spandana review meeting Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy urged district magistrates and senior officials of the state to sustain this going forward. The CM equally instructed the officials to assist MSMEs in every way possible.

‘You need to ensure that the needs of MSMEs are properly addressed to and their grievances, especially from industry should be properly heard and addressed to. Industry is very important for any district so grievances from them should be properly heard, addressed and proactively dealt with’ said Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Spandana is a One-Stop public grievance redressal platform for the citizens of Andhra Pradesh. Grievances raised through spandana are to be redressed in a specific time frame.

The CM entrusted the responsibility of conducting spandana on the district collectors and also said that there was a need to monitor the state’s SDGs as every scheme is connected to SDGs.
