Australian team visits VPA

Visakhapatnam port authority recently welcomed Mr. David Eggleston, Deputy Consul General, Australian Consulate and Ms. Grace Williams, First Secretary, Australian High Commission at VPA. VPA’s deputy chairman, Mr Durgesh Kumar Dubey, IRTS, informed them that India imports huge quantities of Coking Coal from Australia which is the largest among other nations.

Expressing his happiness the Dy. CG showed keen interest in Cruise operations at VPA and conveyed that there is a lot of potential in Cruise tourism at VPA.

During their meeting various points viz., Ease of doing business, turnaround time, customs clearance, port connectivity, transshipment, cruise passenger, congestion, dredging etc., were also discussed in detail.
