Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited has been honoured with the Award of Excellence in ‘CSR & CER Initiatives’ by the Tiruvallur district administration.

The award was presented to BHEL by Mr. M. Prathap, District Collector, Tiruvallur, at the CSR and CER Conclave. BHEL has got the recognition for being among the top 10 corporates in the district contributing significantly to CSR initiatives.

Over the past five years, BHEL has contributed Rs. 1.73 crore towards impactful projects in the areas of health & education, solid waste management, and other community development activities in the district.
