City’s Hotel Assn urges CP to ease certain restrictions

Says measures will Boost Tourism

The Hotels and Restaurants Association of Andhra Pradesh (HRAAP), led by its President Mr. M.V. Pavan Kartheek, recently called upon the city’s police commissioner, Mr Shanka Brata Bagchi, IPS, to discuss several key points pertaining to the development of Visakhapatnam City and the promotion of Tourism.

The Association highlighted the significance of strengthening Hospitality and Tourism Infrastructure to position Vizag as a leading destination.

The delegation which comprised of HRAAP’s Secretary Mr. Jaydeep Biswas of The Park Hotel, Past President & Advisory Member Dr. Prasanth of Daspalla Hotel and Ms Lakshmi Sridhar of Novotel Varun Beach appealed to the authorities to permit 24/7 access to the Visakhapatnam beach stretch and also for Extension of operational hours for Restaurants and Food Outlets until 3:00 AM.

The Association opined that these measures, if implemented, will greatly contribute to boosting tourism, nightlife economy, and overall city vibrancy.

Mr Krishna Kanth Patel, IPS, DCP-Admin, along with other City ACPs, were also present at the meeting.
