Chief Minister Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu recently inaugurated an ethanol plant, in Nellore district.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said that Nellore district will witness rapid infrastructure growth with the upcoming Krishnapatnam, Ramayapatnam, and Dugarajupatnam ports.
In addition, a BPCL greenfield refinery and Kribhco green energy plant will also be established soon said the CM.
Stressing that environmental protection must be given priority while setting up industries he said the bioenergy plant, established by the Viswasamudra Group on 24 acres of land, will produce 200 kilolitres of ethanol per day using crop waste and spoiled rice, benefiting farmers in a big way.
In addition, the CM also unveiled the Nandagokulam Life School to provide quality education to economically disadvantaged students.
The Chief Minister toured the school premises and interacted with the students. He said that giving back to society is a key principle under the P-4 model introduced by the state government. MPs Mr Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy and Mr Beeda Mastan Rao, MLAs Mr Somireddy Chandra- mohan Reddy and Mr Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy, and District Collector Mr Himanshu Shukla were also present.
