ECGC Vizag comes to the rescue of Bank

Pays dues of Exporter
ECGC Visakhapatnam has paid a claim of Rs 14,84,12,900 to SBI Commercial Branch Visakhapatnam on account of an exporter account turning NPA.

This is the highest claim amount paid by ECGC Visakhapatnam in the recent past.

This further assures ECGC coverage holders of the support extended by the corporation in mitigating the risks faced by Bankers and Exporters said ECGC management.

The claim cheque was handed over by ECGC Executive Director (Operations), Mr C N A Anbarasan in the presence of ECGC Regional Manager (South) Mr Subhash Chahar and ECGC Visakhapatnam Branch Manager Mr Amlendu Bipul Mishra to Mr Sandeep Sinha, DGM and Branch Manager, SBI Commercial Branch Visakhapatnam.

On the sidelines of claim payment ECGC Visakhapatnam also organized a Bankers Meet for the Bank clients wherein nearly 30 banker clients were present.

On the occasion ECGC explained the various Do’s and Don’ts associated with the bank cover issued to bankers and also clarified the various queries raised by the bankers.

ECGC Ltd. is wholly owned by the Government of India and was set up in 1957 with the objective of promoting exports from the country by providing Credit Risk Insurance and related services for exports and mitigating the risks of Bankers and Exporters.
