Centre to support delivery of consulting and technology services for global clients
Global Technology giant IBM today announced the opening of its new IBM Consulting FutureNow Centre in Visakhapatnam, reinforcing the company’s continued investment in India’s digital transformation and talent ecosystem.
As per the company the Centre will support the delivery of consulting and technology services for global clients, with capabilities spanning artificial intelligence (AI), hybrid cloud, software engineering, data and analytics, cybersecurity and enterprise transformation.
In addition, it will also serve as a hub for AI-first cloud transformation and services, platform engineering, service integration, quality engineering and user experience services.
The FutureNow Centre reflects IBM’s focus on expanding innovation and delivery capabilities in emerging technology hubs across India.
With a growing pool of digital talent, strong academic institutions and an evolving technology ecosystem, Visakhapatnam is well-positioned to support global client engagements while creating new opportunities for skilled professionals in the region.
Through the FutureNow Centre, IBM aims to deepen its presence in Andhra Pradesh and contribute to the development of a future-ready technology workforce.
The FutureNow Centre was launched by Mr Nara Lokesh, Minister of IT, Electronics and HRD, Government of Andhra Pradesh in the presence of Mr Sandip Patel, Managing Director, IBM India & South Asia, along with other dignitaries from the Government of Andhra Pradesh and IBM.
Inaugurating the Center, Mr Lokesh said, “IBM’s FutureNow Centre is a strong endorsement of Visakhapatnam’s emergence as a global hub for artificial intelligence, digital services and technology-led innovation.
