GVMC projects worth over Rs. 1.5k crs unveiled

The Chief Minister Mr. YS Jaganmohan Reddy laid the foundation stone for various development projects undertaken by the GVMC.

Among these development programmes, a program to augment 66 MLD (15MGD) water supply for industrial clusters and domestic use will be set up in Maduravada Zone-II with an estimated cost of Rs 595 crore. 

The foundation stone was also laid for the development of a comprehensive sewerage system in Zone-II, Madhurawada area with an estimated cost  of Rs.553 crores.

Construction of new integrated office building for GVMC and Visakha Industrial Water Supply Company (VIWSCO) will be undertaken at Mudasarlova area with an estimated cost of Rs.99.47 crores. 

Water supply and UGD improvement works will be carried out in Zone-III, V, VI & VIII under Amrit scheme with an estimated cost of Rs.231.04 crores Eco-friendly Turtle Beach Development Program at Sagarnagar  at an estimated cost of Rs 15.65 crore. 

The CM also laid the foundation stones for expansion and development of Giri Pradakshina Road parallel to NH-16 with an estimated cost of Rs 34.76 crore and other six development projects with an estimated cost of Rs 1528.92 crore.
