Hindustan Shipyard Limited recently received two prestigious awards at the Governance Now 11th PSU Awards ceremony held in Delhi recently.

These awards recognize the significant contributions of Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) to national development and reaffirm HSL’s commitment to operational excellence and innovation.

HSL’s Director of Strategic Projects, Cmde Girideep Singh, was honoured with the ‘Operations Leadership’ award for his crucial role in implementing strategic reforms, innovative engineering solutions, and efficiency-driven approaches.

His efforts have greatly enhanced HSL’s operational excellence in ship repair and submarine refit projects, ensuring that these projects are completed on schedule or even ahead of time in recent years. Additionally, HSL’s commitment to strategic communication and brand visibility was acknowledged with the Communication Outreach Award.

HSL’s Senior Manager (Corporate Planning) and Public Relations Officer, Ms. Neelima Boni, received the award on behalf of the company.  This accolade recognises HSL’s initiatives in enhancing its digital presence, branding, and global outreach, thereby strengthening its business footprint.

The awards were presented under the ‘Other PSU’ category by the Minister of State, Ministry of Coal, Ministry of Mines Mr. Satish Chandra Dubey and Mr.Satya Pal Singh.
