HSL gets New Dir. Shipbuilding

Mr. Ganti Venkateswarlu recently assumed charge as Director Shipbuilding of Hindustan Shipyard Limited.

Mr Venkateswarlu joined Hindustan Shipyard Limited as Additional General Manager in May 2018 and has since contributed immensely to the growth of HSL.

He has worked in all three business units of the company, namely Shipbuilding, Submarine Retrofitment, and Ship Repairs.

As Head of the Business Development he played a key role in signing the biggest order for HSL the construction of 5 Fleet Support Ships.

His other notable achievements include the timely completion of Normal Refits for INS Sindhuvir, Astradharni, Sujata, Sutlej, and other Ship Repair projects.

In his new role he will be responsible for the execution of shipbuilding orders and will play a key role in driving HSL’s growth, innovation, and excellence in Indigenous Shipbuilding.
