Infosys-GoAP ink pact for Skill census

Leading software company Infosys recently signed an MoU with Andhra Pradesh Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC).

The main objective of the MoU is to provide a digital platform for pre-validation of candidates’ skills using generative AI as part of the Skill Census without any financial resources.

The MoU was signed in the presence of IT and Education Minister Mr. Nara Lokesh. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Lokesh said that Infosys’s coming forward for Skill Census data pre-validation under Corporate Social Responsibility is commendable.

He said that through this, it will be easier to assess the current skills of the youth in the state and provide them with skill development training according to the market demand. He said that it is commendable that Infosys has come forward to be a partner in achieving the goal of 20 lakh jobs for the youth in the state in the next five years.

As part of digital learning, Infosys will create user-friendly interfaces that connect students to learning pathways and facilitate continuous learning. It will cooperate with APSSDC to meet the needs of the industry. Infosys will provide free learning opportunities to enthusiasts, develop technology, and manage the digital platform.

Infosys will develop and provide a digital platform to effectively assess the skills of candidates. This platform will provide a comprehensive assessment of the skills required in various industries.
