IRS gets a new office in Kakinada

Indian Register of Shipping (IRS) has relocated its Kakinada Site Office to a new and improved facility. This move forms part of IRS’s ongoing efforts to enhance its presence in the region and offer superior services to the local maritime community.

The enhanced facility is strategically positioned to cater to the needs of the significant offshore industry operating along the East Coast of India, particularly in and around the KG basin, which is home to extensive oil & gas exploration and production activity.

Commenting on the relocation Mr. Saikat Roychowdhury, Head of Operations said “The relocation of our Kakinada office reflects IRS’s commitment to strengthening regional engagement and supporting the maritime and offshore ecosystem in this part of the country.
