The Chief Minister Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu has announced that an industrial-logistics corridor will be developed connecting the coastal ports of Kakinada, Machilipatnam, and Krishnapatnam in Andhra Pradesh.

Along with linking these ports, a world-class oil refinery will also be established near them, he added.

The CM, accompanied by a delegation of ministers, visited the prestigious Jurong Petrochemical Island.

The delegation observed the integrated industrial project developed by Singapore on Jurong Island, along with other essential infrastructure facilities.

Singapore has constructed an integrated petrochemical plant and energy center on this island, which was created through land reclamation from the sea. The officials presented the planning process behind the center’s development, showcased various utility models, and explained the logistics infrastructure.
