Minister holds meet with AP’s Textile Industry

The State Handloom & Textiles Minister Ms. S. Savitha stated that the pending payment of textile industry incentives will be considered keeping in view the financial situation of the state

The minister recently held a key meeting with the representatives of textile industries at the state secretariat and reviewed in depth the steps to be taken to solve the problems and challenges faced by the industry. On this occasion, she said that there is a need to discuss the problems of the textile industry in depth and take steps to solve them from micro level.

She said that she identified many problems and assured that appropriate measures will be taken by the government to solve them.

The representatives of AP Textiles Mills Association, Spinning Mills Association and Ginning & Cotton Association who participated in this meeting brought the problems and challenges faced by the textile industries to the attention of the Minister.
