NASSCOM opens Creative Corner at AU

NASSCOM’s CoE in Andhra University recently added one more feather to its infrastructure, i.e. CoE- Creative-Startup Corner. 

CoE- Creative-Startup Corner is an innovative and collaborative space which shall serve as a platform for diverse entrepreneurs, investors, and industry experts to converge and collaboratively develop and refine groundbreaking ideas.

NASSCOM CoE is a Digital India initiative by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, in collaboration with the governments of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Haryana, and Gujarat, in partnership with NASSCOM. 

As a premier innovation platform, it focuses on emerging technologies like AI, ML, IoT and Robotics for Digital Transformation. The CoE in AU has been instrumental in effectively nurturing 51 advanced technology startups, spanning applications from predictive AI & ML platforms.

Inaugurating the creative startup corner AU VC, Prof. P.V.G.D Prasad Reddy inspired entrepreneurs present to think big and not get bogged down by failures.

‘There has been a dramatic change in how startups and youngsters are viewed today. Corporations today look to startups for innovative and out of the box solutions. 

And am proud to say that the startups at AU are working on many innovative solutions’ said AU’s VC. 

Elaborating further he informed of the various initiatives undertaken at the university to strengthen the innovation and startup ecosystem. 

‘AU’s Innovation and startup eco-system has accomplished many key milestones in a short span of time. AU today boasts of startup from eclectic sectors such as drone technologies to geo engineering to AI, ML to life sciences and many others. In all we have around 170 active startups working out of AU’ said Prof Prasad Reddy.
