NDC team meets AP’s Chief Secretary

A team of several officers from New Delhi National Defence College recently met Chief Secretary Mr K. Vijayanand at the CS Camp Office in Vijayawada.

The team of officers was led by Major General CP Sangra AVSM YSM (rtd) who were visiting the state as part of their study tour.

Team representatives inquired about various development and welfare programs being implemented in the state under the auspices of the Central and State Governments.

CS Vijayanand informed them of the Swarnandhra 2047 Vision Plan as part of Vikasit Bharat 2047 & also explained the programs being undertaken through the Ten-Point Plan to achieve the Swarnandhra goal. Similarly, CS Vijayanand explained to them about the use of technology in the implementation of development and welfare schemes and programs.

He explained how WhatsApp Governance was recently introduced in the state and how it is providing easy civic services to the people. He said that the central defence forces like Army, Navy, Air Force, NDRF etc. have been providing invaluable services to the state when various natural disasters occur in the state.

Major General Sangra said that a team of 16 officers from various departments of his college is visiting various parts of the state as part of a study tour.
