New CC GST & Customs

Mr Sanjay Rathi recently took charge as the Chief Commissioner of GST & Customs, Andhra Pradesh. Mr Rathi was earlier serving as Principal Commissioner of GST Mumbai  and was promoted and transferred to Visakhapatnam. 

In his long extensive career spanning over 33 years he has worked in various cities such as Mumbai, Lucknow, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Nagpur etc.

The Visakhapatnam central tax zone comprises 7 Commissionerates some of them include Visakhapatnam, Guntur, Tirupati, Guntur appeals and Guntur audits. 

The goods and services tax recently completed 7 years in existence since its inception in July 2017.
