Software the Sweya way

Published on

Some startups are born out of personal struggles, and others from gaps in the market. But Sweya Information Technologies emerged from a belief—that software should continuously create value and leave an impact at every level of an organisation.

The founder Srinivas Maddala was inspired by how Microsoft’s products, especially tools like Excel, have empowered millions around the world. They wanted to replicate that effect: build products that boost efficiency and intelligence across industries.

At the heart of the startup lies a clear mission—to fix the inefficiencies and fragmentation that plague digital transformation. Many businesses adopt technology in pieces, often without fully realizing its benefits.

This startup addresses that gap with platformized, AI-driven solutions designed to automate repetitive tasks, streamline operations, and help companies make smarter decisions with measurable ROI. Their belief is simple: when machines handle the mundane, humans can focus on creativity, innovation, and meaningful work.

“MIRA, our AI-powered asset management solution, now live at SSKM Hospital, Kolkata, cut equipment search time from 2 hours to 5 minutes and boosted utilization from 42% to 75%, eliminating losses,” said the founder.

Their revenue model reflects the same flexibility. They operate on a hybrid structure that combines product subscriptions with service-based earnings. Beyond implementing their AI-powered digital products, they offer customization, integrations, and managed services—creating both recurring and project-based revenue streams.

In a short span, the startup has worked with over 15 clients across industries, earning deep trust that often converts into referrals.

Looking ahead, the company is gearing up for global expansion. With plans to set up a US entity next year and grow through strategic partnerships, they aim to amplify their presence in the AI ecosystem and deliver their platform solutions across borders.

At its core, the startup is driven by a simple vision: make businesses smarter and people more fulfilled through intelligent, scalable software.
