Syrma & Hindalco to invest Big under AP’s ECMS policy

Giving a thumbs up to the Andhra Pradesh’s Electronics Component Manufacturing Policy (4.0) 2025-30, two renowned groups recently submitted proposals for investing in the state’s electronics sector.

Syrma group has evinced interest in setting up a printed circuit board manufacturing unit in Naidupeta while Hindalco industries private limited has evinced interest to establish an integrated aluminium extrusion facility (primary raw material for manufacturing mobile phone enclosures/chassis) in Kuppam. Both companies’ proposals were recently accorded approvals by the State investment promotion board.

Syrma Strategic Electronics Private Limited will establish a Manufacturing and R&D facility for single, multilayer, HDI, and Flex printed circuit boards.

The proposed facility will entail an investment of Rs 1,076 crores with a potential to generate 1,011 jobs in Menakuru Village, Naidupeta, Andhra Pradesh.

The company has requested for allotment of 12.56 acres of land to be made available by APIIC and sought approval for incentives under the Andhra Pradesh Electronics Components Manufacturing Policy (4.0), 2025–30.

Similarly, Syrma Components Private Limited will set up a Copper Clad Laminate manufacturing facility with an investment of Rs 418 Crores with a potential to create 647 jobs in Menakuru Village Naidupeta, AP.

For this the company has requested to be allotted 10 acres of land by APIIC. In addition, M/s. Syrma SGS Technology Ltd. Will set up a Electronics Manufacturing Services facility with an investment of Rs 100 Crores with a projected employment of 510 jobs in Menakuru Village, Naidupeta, AP.

Similarly, Hindalco Industries Limited has proposed an investment of INR 586 Crores. The project claims to have an employment potential of 613 jobs. The company has requested to sanction incentives under the Andhra Pradesh Electronics Component Manufacturing Policy (4.0), 2025–30.
