VCCI women’s wing elects new Team

Sandhya Godey takes over as President

The women’s wing of the Visakhapatnam chambers of commerce and industry at its recently held AGM elected its new office bearers for the years 2024-2026.

Ms. Sandhya Ravi Godey was elected as the president while Ms Anila Narla was elected as the Vice President.

Simultaneously Ms Parveen Hosain took over as Secretary and Ms Vani Kancharla took over as Treasurer. 

After the formal installation, President Sandhya shared her plan for the new team which included conducting training and up skilling sessions for women entrepreneurs’ already in business as well as for those who wish to embark on a business journey.

She also spoke on facilitating and encouraging school and college students to consider entrepreneurship as a future option, connecting women entrepreneurs across the city and surrounding districts with potential buyers thereby creating opportunities for Women’s Wing members to share and display their products and services to other Women organi- sations and join hands at collaborative events. Earlier in the meeting outgoing President Ms Jeeja Valsaraj presented the year end report for the year 2023 -24.
