Vizag District Collector’s Services hailed

In recognition of his exemplary public service, District Collector Mr M.N. Harendhira Prasad was today felicitated by the District In-charge Minister, local MLAs, and other senior officials in Visakhapatnam.

The appreciation ceremony highlighted his dedicated administrative efforts and contributions toward district development and governance.

Earlier a special meeting was convened at the Collectorate meeting hall as part of the Andhra Pradesh State Budget 2026–27 outreach program.

The session, held on Tuesday, focused on discussions and suggestions related to key aspects of the state budget.

District In-charge Minister Dola Mr Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy addressed the gathering, offering insights and recommendations on budget priorities and developmental strategies.

The meeting was attended by District Collector MLC Gade Srinivasulu Naidu, and MLAs Mr GanababuMr Velagapudi Ramakrishna Babu, Mr Vishnukumar Raju, and Mr Vamsi Krishna Srinivas.

Also present were Police Commissioner Mr Shankhabrata Bagchi, GVMC Commissioner Mr Ketan Garg, VMRDA Commissioner Mr Tej Bharat, District Revenue Officer Mr M. Visweswara Naidu, and Bheemili RDO Sangeet Madhur, along with other senior officials.

The discussions emphasized coordinated efforts between elected representatives and administrative authorities to ensure effective implementation of budgetary policies and address the developmental needs of the district.
